Our Company Haileslassie Ambaye Industrial PLC (HAIPLC), started business as coffee supplier in Ethiopia in 1992. With this ample experience in the local coffee business, our company ventured into exporting various coffee types to the global market.

to maintain the quality and efficiency of coffee export, the company has established its own coffee warehouse and coffee processing facility at Akaki Kality sub city of Addis Abab city. The facility is equipped with international standard machinery from Cimbira brand, with a blower capacity of 144 ton per day.

Our company source its coffee from our twenty washing stations located in different areas of the coffee regions including Sidamo, Yirgachefe, Guji and Jimma. Recently the company has moved forward to establish a coffee farm and has acquired 500 hectar of land in Dirita Kebele, D/Bench Woreda, Bench Maji Zone of the Southern Nations, Nationalities and People’s Regional State (SNNPRS), a region suitable for diverse and quality coffee. This will enable the company to source top quality coffee from its own farm in the coming few years.

Our coffee export destinations are mainly the USA, Germany, South Korea, Japan, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Australia and China.

We also embarked on new ventures of sourcing coffee through vertical integration programs where we have identified and selected the best coffee growing areas from each region and exclusively partnered with Mill Owners in each of the selected area for exclusive supply of Specialty Coffee. We also provide training for post harvest preparation under the partnership agreement where we agreed to make second payment to the farmers who supply the coffee cherries.
